Dev Diaries #03 – Xenocider enemy design

Welcome back to our Dev Diaries! Want to know what the enemies in Xenocider will look like?

As you know from previous entries, 3D designer Abel del Dedo creates all our graphic assets with Blender. To make sure we are doing things right, we use a custom-made tool that allows us to visualize 3D objects as they would look on a Dreamcast.

This third chapter is once again made of clips from our last video-meeting, featuring original music by Juanjo Martín. Don’t forget to watch until the end when Chui shares his screen with us and we all feel relieved to know everything seems to work just fine 😉

¡Bienvenidos de nuevo a nuestros diarios de desarrollo! ¿Queréis saber el aspecto que tendrán los enemigos en Xenocider?

Como sabréis por entradas anteriores, Abel del Dedo (diseñador 3D) crea todos los recursos gráficos en Blender. Para asegurarnos de que hacemos las cosas bien, usamos una herramienta de creación propia que nos permite visualizar los objetos 3D tal y como se verán en Dreamcast.

Una vez más, este capítulo está compuesto por fragmentos de nuestra última vídeo-reunión, acompañados con música original de Juanjo martín. No olvidéis verlo hasta el final, porque Chui también comparte su pantalla y nos alivia al ver que todo parece funcionar bien 😉
