Dev Diaries #10 – Welcome to the Caves of Kvika!

Welcome back to Xenocider for Dreamcast! This is episode 10 of our Dev Diaries, and today we take a better look at the stage design we are arguably most proud of, as well as present a brand new one we have been teasing for some time: the Caves of Kvika, inspired by the lava / underground levels from both the Golden Axe and the Sonic the Hedgehog series, with a tune that’s clearly influenced by the original The Hose of the Dead. We like paying homage to the great, you see.

Let’s watch a few fragments of both stages running on our custom-made debugger while we also get to know their inhabitants a bit better, shall we?

Do not forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel! Full video of the Caves of Kvika running on real Dreamcast hardware is coming soon. Also Remember we are always available on Facebook, Twitter, SoundCloud, and here, on our own boards.

Pre-order Xenocider today in order to receive an exclusive poster by comic book artist Agustín Padilla!
